"Room No. 5" by Bev Clark - A strange and mysterious black box is found on the stage. Someone hears groans, the other hears screams. They are afraid to open it. When someone else does, they can’t even speak. Everything keeps you guessing, and just when it looks like things are explained … they are not.
"Laund-o-mat at the End of the World" by Peter Gruner - Brian thinks it's the last night of the world and goes to the laundromat because he has nothing better to do. Carmella doesn't believe anything of the sort. It is Friday night: laundry night. Over soap & sarcasm, two strangers discuss life, miracles & spelling.
